Ciera Foster’s early life was shaped by athletics ( thanks to the encouragement of her mother), she ran three consecutive years of competitive track & field competing in both the sprint and long distance categories.Ciera has played two years of both competitive and club softball. Ciera Foster was a basketball player for eleven years.
In 2007 upon graduating high school Ciera was offered a full athletic scholarship to Paine State University to play both basketball and volleyball. Ciera became a COAA California State Tournament Finalist (City College of San Francisco) and earned a scholarship as a NCAA athlete at CSUSB in 2011.
Ciera Foster also has a long history of martial arts training. Ciera’ s father is a seventh degree black belt in the Martial art form of taekwando. As a dojo master Ciera’s father was an MMA competitive athlete as well, whose sparring partner and friend was actor & martial artist, Chuck Norris (Walker Texas Ranger). Ciera’s father began training her in both the culture and discipline of martial arts when she was eight years old.
As an adult she has also trained for year at the Theatrical Academy of Combat as well as one year at Film Fighting LA. Ciera Foster is highly trained in hand-to-hand combat, theatrical combat, mixed martial arts, basic arms, stunts, and film combat weapons. Her specialties include the use of a cutlass, a broad sword, and a quarterstaff. Ciera currently trains at the Piloxing Academy in Burbank Ca, which specializes in Pilate’s ,ballet, and boxing.
